Jennifer M. Flood

Executive Director & Founder

Jennifer is executive director and founder of Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation, which she started with her sisters while experiencing their father being diagnosed with kidney disease. Jennifer is a graduate of New York University where she received a bachelors of psychology degree. She was also on the Dean’s list at NYU and received the Bart Lawson Award for Service in Humanitarianism for her service to New York City. Jennifer started her career in nursing and has worked for an array of well- known hospitals including NYPH – Weil Cornell in Westchester. She specialized in psychiatric nursing working in the field for 6 years. Aside from her past career in nursing, she has also worked as a paralegal for many affluent investment banks and firms. Her passion and time is devoted to helping others receive kidney transplants.

Cynthia M. Flood B.F.A. M.A.B.

Co-Founder

Cynthia is co-founder of Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation. She has a BFA of Communications Design from FIT in New York City. Throughout her college education, she did consulting work and is a compliance professional. She has worked for an array of prestigious corporations, design firms, law firms and financial institutions in New York City. From working in the business world at an early age, she acquired a wealth of knowledge in different areas of business and marketing. This valuable experience allowed for her to market herself to one successful company after the next. She hopes to encourage more young professionals to reach their potential. In the process, she strives on educating people about organ donor awareness.

Heather A. Flood B.A. MSW

Co-Founder

Heather is a clinical social worker. She is co-founder of Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation. She has a B.A. in psychology from Binghamton University and a M.S. in clinical social work from the Columbia University School of Social Work. Over the past 10 years, she has worked in a variety of settings including healthcare, mental health, residential treatment for adolescents and children. She hopes to educate society about organ donor awareness, living kidney donation and kidney disease.

Roseann Flood A.A.S.

Roseann is a former Technical Designer with Eileen Fisher Clothing Company. She has an A.A.S. in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City . Upon graduation she received The Youth Merit Award in Fashion from the Department of Public Events of the City of New York . She has worked for Vera Industries, Perry Ellis, and Maidenform prior to working for Eileen Fisher Inc. Roseann is a strong advocate for altruistic transplants. Currently, she is a board member of Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation.

Andrea Lapierre Battista

Living Kidney Donor Advocate

Andrea is a wife and mother of 3 young children. On April 29, 2015, she donated her kidney to a 16 year old boy named Michael who she never knew. When she found out he was her friend’s nephew she asked her how she could help. After several tests, she found out she was a match!

She lost her nephew at a young age due to cancer and she just knew she had to give back. Three years later, Michael is now attending college and she was blessed with her third child. Andrea is proud to support Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation by speaking to potential living donors in her role as a living kidney donor advocate.​

Deborah Donnelly-McLay

Living Kidney Donor Advocate

Deborah has been involved with aviation for over 20 years, as both an academic instructor and commercial airline pilot/airline Captain at UPS Airlines. She flies the Boeing 767 aircraft to Central and South America. She has two children, Therese and John; who are both pilots. Her educational background includes: Education EdD Organizational Leadership, Nova Southeastern University, 2018 ALM History, Harvard University, ABT, 2018, MAS Aeronautical Science, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, 1998 BS Aeronautical Science and Technology, Thomas Edison State College, 1995.

In addition to being a kidney donor in 2016 through Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation, some key highlights of her career include being a TEDx speaker on Aviation and Automation, a Research Assistant and Project Manager at Harvard University, School of Public Health, Dept. of Environmental Health and working on how the cockpit environment affects pilot health. She has been awarded several professional awards, including Pilot of the Year Award, 2017 Airshow Pilot for the First All-Female Crew at the Thunder Over Louisville Airshow. Deborah is proud to educate and support others in her role as a living kidney donor advocate for Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation.
