Living Donation
Living donation is when a healthy living organ donor gives an organ such as a kidney or part of an organ such as a portion of a lung, liver, pancreas, or intestine to a recipient.
TRIO
TRIO is an independent, not-for-profit, international organization committed to improving the quality of life of transplant candidates, recipients, their families and the families of organ and tissue donors.
COTA
COTA provides information to your community to assure them the funds raised for transplant-related expenses are raised ethically, used appropriately, are not taxable income and do not jeopardize participation in assistance programs.
NLDAC
The National Living Donor Assistance Center helps reduce the financial disincentives to living organ donation by providing reimbursement of travel, subsistence expenses and lost wages to people being evaluated for and/or undergoing living organ donation.
