Jennifer M. Flood
Jennifer is President and founder of The Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation of America, which she started with her sisters while experiencing their father being diagnosed with kidney disease. Jennifer is a graduate of New York University where she received a bachelors of psychology degree. She was also was on the Dean’s list at NYU and received the NYU Humanitarian Award for her service to New York City along with her sisters. Jennifer started her career in nursing and has worked for an array of well- known hospitals including NYPH- Weil Cornell in Westchester. She specialized in psychiatric nursing working in the field for 6 years. Aside from her past career in nursing, she has also worked as a paralegal for many affluent investment banks and firms. Her passion and time is devoted to helping others conquer kidney disease.
Cynthia M. Flood B.F.A. M.A.B.
Cynthia is co-founder and PR director of The Flood Sisters Foundation of America. She has a BFA of Communications Design from FIT in New York City. Throughout her college education, she did consulting work and is a compliance professional. She has worked for an array of prestigious corporations, design firms, law firms and financial institutions in New York City. From working in the business world at an early age, she acquired a wealth of knowledge in different areas of business and marketing. This valuable experience allowed for her to market herself to one successful company after the next. She hopes to encourage more young professionals to reach their potential. In the process, she strives on educating people about organ donor awarenss.
Heather A. Flood B.A. MSW
Heather is a clinical social worker. She is vice president and co-founder of The Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation Of America. She has a B.A. in psychology from Binghamton University and a M.S. in clinical social work from the Columbia University School of Social Work. Over the past 10 years, she has worked in a variety of settings including healthcare, mental health, residential treatment for adolescents and children. She hopes to educate society about organ donor awareness and kidney disease.
Roseann Flood A.A.S.
Roseann is a former Technical Designer with Eileen Fisher Clothing Company. She has an A.A.S. in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City . Upon graduation she received The Youth Merit Award in Fashion from the Department of Public Events of the City of New York . She has worked for Vera Industries, Perry Ellis, and Maidenform prior to working for Eileen Fisher Inc. Roseann is a strong advocate for altruistic transplants. Currently, she is a board member of the Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation of America.
Dana Reissner, RN, BSN, CCTC has spent her nursing career in and around transplant and has seen first-hand the power of the gift of life. She believes that change not only happens with scientific medical innovations, but also through awareness, evangelization and selfless acts by regular people. She is a Registered Nurse (RN) in Ohio, Michigan and Ontario, holds a BS in Nursing from the University of Detroit Mercy; is a member of Sigma Theta Tau (Nursing Honor’s Society); is a Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) and has over 15 years of direct experience in multi-organ transplantation. She is with the Cleveland Clinic Transplant Center in Cleveland Ohio where she currently serves as a Waitlist/On Call Transplant Nurse Coordinator (Kidney & Pancreas) and has had previous experience at the Henry Ford Transplant Institute in Detroit, MI. She lives passionately and has dedicated her nursing career to helping people through both the pre and post-transplant process, understanding the medical complexities of transplant and loves to continuously learn. Dana serves as a volunteer staff nurse with the Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation and in that capacity she advises, pre-screens potential living donor matches and works with transplant institutes around the country to present altruistic donors – ultimately augmenting and enhancing existing living donor programs. Kyle Reissner is a connector and persuader that loves technology. He’s known as software app innovator, leader and creative marketing person that thinks outside the box, sees around corners and believes horizontal passion breeds amazing opportunities. He’s brought many ideas to light over his career at Fortune 10, Fortune 500 and startup size companies. His is keenly interested on how technology tools can aid in spreading the message of living donor transplants and the amazing selfless act of being an altruistic living donor. Kyle serves as a volunteer adviser to the Flood Sisters Kidney foundation on business, online, marketing and fundraising topics. He believes that challenging the status quo with the right network of people not only breeds new ideas but also drives existing established processes and methods forward.
